It has been awhile since I have written on my blog. So I thought I would start again as there are alot of fun and exciting things happening. I have moved from FL to NC and now back to my home state of Missouri. I didn't like this at first and fought with everything that is in my to get out of here and back to the sunshine state. BUT God had other plans. Even after a interview with Disney for a spot at the reservation center in Tampa, I didn't get anything. But I applied for a job at Big Cedar in Branson and out of the blue they called me. So now I am a happy new employee in reservations! I am excited about getting a car, my own place and being independent again! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE living with my family. I have been truly blessed with being able to meet my cousins little ones and get closer to my family, but I like being me. I enjoy being in charge of things and figuring out my own path. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. And I can see myself being at this job a long time! I can see building a life in Branson. Finding a husband and having kids. I am ready to settle down but I will never just settle. I know that I have been truly blessed and I feel that this is the path I have always meant to be on!

Growing up really is hard to do
Growing up your goal is the be an adult. You want to
learn to drive, date, graduate and go out into the world hoping that you know
exactly what to do. Everyone thinks that this is an easy road….. it isn’t. You
have so many dreams that you may or may not fulfill. You might get caught up in
drinking and drugs and your life spirals out of control before you can get a grasp
on reality and life. You may end up with a baby that you love but might not be
ready for or go into a marriage thinking that he or she is the one, only to
find out that the only thing they are good at is cheating on you. Life is a
hard place. But most people are going to go out, fight their way through, fall
flat on their butts a good dozen times, settle down, maybe even finding the
love of their life and having a couple of beautiful children. Sometimes life is
hard but it is all a building block for that moment when you realize that have truly
grown up. It is that moment when you
realize that you are content with life. You have a plan for the future and know
what YOU want out of life. It can happen at any time. It might be after you hit
rock bottom, after your college graduation, the day of wedding or just sitting
in your living room one day. Growing up is never easy but in the end the peace
of knowing life is good and no matter what, you have what you need to make it
through anything thrown your way

Spring Time
It is almost spring! What does that mean you might ask.... SUNSHINE! Duing the winter many people become depressed because of the lack of Vitamin D that is mostly provided by the sun. That is why sunshine puts people into a better mood. It is also said that if you lack in Vitamin D, you crave to be outside. So the next time you are in your office staring out the window at a beautiful day, go ahead and head outside for breaks and lunch , because it is probley you body telling you that you need something!

Almost made it through Jan
In most years, January is the hardest month of the year. You are making those first payments on all the stuff you put on your credit cards for Christmas, trying to set up and fit in all the goals that you have for 2013, and most of all you still have family that you are trying to fit in time with. Usually by the end of January, people have reverted back to what they were doing at the end of 2012 as it worked. But no matter your goals for this year, YOU made those goals so they have to be important to you. You didn't say you were going to get organized for the heck of telling someone something when they asked about your goals for 2013. You made these goals and it up to YOU to figure out how to work your life around to be able to fit everything into your life and make it work. If something isn't working, don't give up and revert back to your old way, try something new. Everyone is different and so are their lives. Just because I can fit in going to the gym 5 days a week so I might not have to hit the food front as bad doesn't mean that the lady that lives next door might have 4 children and can only get to the gym an hour a week. We can both loose weight but my way is just different. So before giving up on your goals, try different ways until you find something that works for you so in 2014, you won't have to have the same goals in 2013 as you already fulfilled them!

How are you doing?
I get this question and sometimes just don't know how to answer. Most of the time people don't really care how you are really feeling or doing. They are just being polite by asking. But for those that really do love and care for you, what do you say to them? As a women, it is important to be honest those that are closest to you. To many times I have turned on the TV or read on the Internet about a mom who killed her kids because of stress. It just got to much and she kept it inside. So PLEASE if someone like a family member, good friend or spouse asks you how you are, please be honest. Let them know if things are stressful and you really just need a break from life to relax or if you are upset and sad, talk to them as this is going to make life easier for not only yourself but those that are around you. Also if you are stressed often or there are large problems in your life, do NOT feel embarrassed with going to a therapist. It is a chance to talk to someone you don't know and to be honest. Getting your feelings out there and heard is important for you mental health and thus your physical health as well!!

Regrets
Throughout life, everyone is going to have things that they regret. With the start of 2013, it is a new beginning. It is time to let go of things that have happened in the past and look forward to things that are going to happen in the future. 2013 is a blank paper and it is time to write your story! So, take a moment to reflect on those regrets. Cry, scream, write letters or anything that you need to get those emotions and feelings about those regrets going and let them out. Let all those feelings go and start a new. Lost a friend because of stupidity, get on line and make new ones. Hurt someone, ask for forgiveness and if they are not able or ready to give it, then know that you tried everything you could to make them understand the situation and move on. Life is to short and full of stress to hold onto things that may never be resolved. So in 2013, let things go and know nothing is worth stressing about.

Being You!
I can honestly say that this was the hardest concept for me to understand growing up. I always felt that I was an outcast so I always believed that changing myself was what I needed to do to make people love me. As I got older I began to understand that confidence of who I really am is how you get people to accept you, not being skinny or the way you look. BUT you also have to get to the point that you love yourself. It has taken me many years to say, I love me. I might have red hair and not look exactly like everyone else but again I am me, I am not anyone else. I'm a fun loving girls who loves horror movies, animals and have a passion for music and writing. I don't like mice, lizards, snakes or people who believe they are better then everyone else. I look in the mirror and see someone who has a lot to give the world. Someone who has learnt to laugh at herself instead of getting upset and to grab a problem my the tail and run with it cause getting upset about something doesn't fix it, hard work does. So I want you, yet you reading this, to go look in a mirror. Look at who you are and love who you are. Every bit of yourself... The good and the bad. Accept that if there are things about yourself that you don't like, you are the only one that can change it. YOU are the only person that has to love you.
